Love your color! The owl art is interesting, but a little creepy.

The art is a bit startling, in context of a baby’s room. But I know it will still be great in a kid’s room. I would carry the owl image around the room somewhere else so the painting feels at home. It’s a funky cool modern room.

Very beautiful nursery. It looks stylish and doesn’t look the least like a budget nursery. I’m undecided about the owl-themed mural or artwork though. Part of me likes it and finds it artistic and creative, but part of me thinks it’s rather dark and not quite right for a baby.

My favorite is the display shelf by the window. I love the wood in dark stain and the cute and pretty what-nots you have displayed.

Hi – I just saw all of the comments! Sorry…here’s the answers to your questions. Hope they aren’t too late!

Also, I am going to try and upload some additional photos of the room “in use” by our daughter, Finley, who is now 7 months old!

Paint – Ralph Lauren: Faded Seafoam (RL Number: VM125)

Sheets – Breeze Baby by Sweet Potato

Owls – All collected over the 9 months of pregnancy from thrift stores, HomeGoods, etc.

Art – My husband and i painted the mural together. He is a local artist in South Florida. Here is a sampling of his work: http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/1986/3722/1600/paintings%20on%20wall.jpg

On the adjacent walls, the prints (you might not be able to see) is an educational illustration of iconic design pieces, the ABC’s of design, if you will – designed by Blue Ant Studio.
