A Diaper Bag that Can Charge Your Phone? We’re Intrigued.

I recently got the chance to check out a new kind of diaper bag. The Vianetic diaper bag has some innovative features that make it stick out from your average diaper bag. First of all, it doesn’t really look like a diaper bag.

Secondly, it functions as a diaper changing station in the car! The bag can be hung off of the headrest of the front seat, the front of the bag folds down with an easy-to-use magnetic release, and the attached (but removable) changing mat unfolds from there onto your car seat. Everything you need is then at your fingertips in the bag at eye level while baby is ready to be changed—much easier than blindly fumbling around in your bag stuck on the car floor while trying to protect your car from any diaper accidents.

Packing cubes are all the rage in travel, so Vianetic gives it a go in a diaper bag with their removable storage organizer. Rather than having a bunch of loose things you have to pull out to get down to the bottom of your bag, this allows you to remove one piece without disrupting the careful organization of your diaper bag. Behind the storage organizer there are plenty more pockets for additional items.

Traveling with extra tech? This bag has a separated padded laptop pocket as well as an external USB port connected to a portable power bank inside that you can charge up before you leave home so that you can recharge your phone or tablet on-the-go.

I will say that with all these cool features, the bag is definitely on the heavy side. But since most of the innovations of this bag would be most helpful when traveling, you may not mind the extra weight because you won’t be carrying it around as much.
