You guys, we’ve been busy bees working with our buddies over at Carousel Designs on a super secret series of crib bedding collections. Looking back, it’s easy to see how this collaboration has really been eight years in the making. Our genuine adoration for each other as brands has ultimately blossomed into a friendship and shared interest in design and, of course, beautiful bedding for our readers and customers. This is a really proud moment for all of us here at Project Nursery, which is why we are thrilled to announce that our exclusive Project Nursery x Carousel Designs bedding collection is now available in The Project Nursery Shop!
Our journey was a fun one. A few months ago we all traveled to the Big Apple on the hunt for inspiration and to put our plan into motion. Apparently a few of us had a serious case of the butterflies, but not just any sweet butterfly would do. We wanted our butterflies to be bold and modern with a bit of an unexpected twist. We call our vibrant fuchsia and orange flutter pattern “Butterfly Kisses.”

Log into our Project Gallery on any given day, and it’s wildly apparent that woodland nurseries reign supreme. Our moms and dads are making nature-themed nurseries all the rage, so it was even more important for us to deliver a woodland and mountain collection that is versatile and really WOWS.

We also wanted to make it abundantly clear that woodland themed nurseries aren’t just for the boys. Girls can climb mountains too, which is why we also created this collection in a feminine colorway.
We’re evolving our watercolor dreams collection as we speak, but we still wanted to give you a sneak peek of more goodness to come.
So what does everyone think? We can’t wait to hear your feedback, and we look forward to designing more bedding that meets your nursery style! xoxo, Melisa & Pam

I’m so glad you are encouraging us to believe that girls can climb mountains too, AS LONG AS THEY’RE PINK. I can’t believe you feel you have to release a woodland theme in “girl colors” in order for it to be OK for girls’ nurseries.

You’re right Cara. Girls can climb mountains – Pink, blue or zebra stripe! Sky’s the limit. Mountain and woodland themed nurseries are wildly popular while pink happens to be the number one color used in the nursery by parents. We wanted to create an option that incorporated both trends to give parents more, exciting options for the nursery of their dreams. And while pink is the most popular color way for girl nurseries, we love all colors for all babies. We look forward to introducing more collections soon, as this is the first of what we hope to be many!
