Introducing the First-Ever Wearable SmartBand Designed Exclusively for Parents by Yours Truly

As new parents we spend our days juggling bottles, breast pump parts, creams and bouncers; researching everything from swaddle techniques to diaper brands; all while processing the advice of doctors, lactation consultants, friends and family members. We’re pretty much just desperately trying to adjust to this beautiful new life called parenthood. What if there was a simple and stylish product made just for parents that could briskly release some of the weight from our worn-out shoulders? Well, it’s no longer a “what if” because we made a wearable journal that tracks baby and you, and we’re really proud to say it’s available right now!

Project Nursery Parent + Baby SmartBand - Wearable for New Parents

Meet the new, one-of-its kind Parent + Baby SmartBand by Project Nursery. From scheduling and tracking appointments and events for parent and baby to streamlining the information right to your phone, our SmartBand offers thoughtful features and capabilities to simplify daily life for baby and mom through pregnancy, infancy and beyond.

Project Nursery Parent + Baby SmartBand Wristband Color Options

So what does our Parent + Baby SmartBand actually do? The brand-new SmartBand is filled with features, including a customizable reminder and alarm function so that parents can stay on schedule with feeding sessions, vitamin and medication schedules, and even nap times. After all, those first few weeks with a new baby are an overload on our brains, to say the least! Logging bottle and breastfeeding times, pump reminders and diaper changes can quickly become overwhelming, and searching for the same piece of paper or keeping your phone charged (seriously!) to log these important times and details is harder than we ever thought. So the team at Project Nursery decided that a couple taps and a swipe, right there on your wrist, is all that should be needed to journal such events.

Sleek in design yet dynamic in function, the SmartBand syncs with its app (iOS or Android) using Bluetooth Smart technology to create an easy and seamless user experience, including smartwatch notifications for caller ID, text messages and app notifications.

The Parent + Baby SmartBand retails for $149.99 and includes three comfortable and lightweight wristbands in gray, black and our favorite, blush pink. We think it makes an amazing baby shower gift, and the lucky mom-to-be won’t even have to wait until baby arrives to start reaping the benefits of this smart device. The Project Nursery Parent + Baby SmartBand is perfect for pregnancy. Use it to track fetal movements, hydration goals, exercise, diet and prenatal vitamin intake.

Can you purchase replacement bands somewhere if one has broken? I’d like to get a replacement for my grey band that has a rip in it.

Is there a way to make the screen vertical like it shows on the box instead of horizontal? I went to the settings on my band and clicked the change from horizontal to vertical option but it just flips the horizontal screen upside down not to vertical? Am I the only one having trouble with that? Besides that issue I love my SmartBand 😍😍

I’m torn between thinking this is a cute idea and finding it extremely patronizing. Do I really need a wristband to tell me when I need to feed my baby, put it down for a nap, etc.? I don’t know. But I will say the medication/vitamin reminders would be helpful – I always forget that.
