Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays, and it’s not just because my husband is required to spoil me! No, I love the holiday because I get to design cheeky Valentine’s Day cards using all my best puns! My kids love handing out funny valentines to all of their classmates, and I have fun brainstorming ideas with them. This year inspiration struck when I was out with the kids, and once again, they started begging for quarters after spotting a gumball machine. What kids won’t do for a gumball! So of course we had to come up with a clever pun and create these cute gumball machine valentines.
To create them, go to Cricut Design Space and create a new project uploading the red or pink gumball machine image as a print and cut file. Size the image so the gumball machine is five inches tall in order to create 3″ x 5″ finished cards. Print the file onto letter size bright white cardstock. Place cardstock onto your standard grip Cricut cutting mat and set your Cricut dial to Cardstock. Load your mat and proceed to cut your cards.
Once your cards are cut, simply remove them from your mat, and you can have your kids sign and address the back of each card.
Finally, simply add a glue dot and attach an individually wrapped gumball to each card.
My kids are excited to hand out their gumball machine valentines to their friends and classmates, and I get to look like a cool mom. And to me, that’s what makes it a Happy Valentine’s Day!

Hi,
Love this design.
Can I sell the design and the cut out in my Etsy shop?
For people that don’t have Cricuit machines.
Thanks.
