Waffle Turkey Breakfast
1 slice of bread
1 frozen waffle (I use Kashi Cinnamon Waffles)
2 tablespoons peanut butter (or your favorite allergen-friendly alternative)
1/4 banana
2 chocolate chips
7-10 raisins
1 mandarin orange
1/2 apple

Cut a tall trapezoid from your piece of bread by slicing two diagonals and removing the top and bottom crusts.

Toast the frozen waffle. Coat one side of the bread trapezoid with peanut butter and stick it (PB side down) to the middle of the waffle. Cut two pieces of bread crust to a length of 1/2″ each for the legs.

Use peanut butter again to stick two slices of banana to the bread for eyes.

With your waffle turkey on a plate, place a chocolate chip in the middle of each eye. Position a raisin for a beak, as well as three raisins per leg for feet. (You can also swap out the chocolate chips for raisins, if you wish.)

Peel and separate your mandarin orange. Set two slices atop the waffle for wings.

Cut half of an apple into slices. Tuck the tips of 6-7 apple slices beneath the top of the waffle for the tail feathers. Arrange the remaining orange wedges on top of the apples. Don’t forget to cut a small triangle of red apple skin for the turkey’s wattle by his beak.
