All the Yum with a Lot Less Mess

We’re less than one week away from the official start of spring, and I’m EXCITED. I’ll admit that Mother Nature went easy on us here in Upstate New York this winter, but I still can’t wait to trade in play dough for a sandbox and crayons for sidewalk chalk. This past week has been unseasonably gorgeous, and I’ve been easing back into warm weather mode. I’m about one 70 degree day away from breaking out the kiddie pool (kidding…kind of), but in the meantime, I dusted off our popsicle molds over the weekend and made my kids their first frozen treat of the season!

Kinderville Little Bites Ice Pop Molds

I love these Kinderville Little Bites Ice Pop Molds, and here’s why. They’re made of flexible silicone that’s BPA-free and dishwasher-safe. The tapered design makes it easy to fill them, and the lids keep the contents contained while they’re stored away in the freezer. Plus, they make the most awesome push-up popsicles that are not only fun, but they keep the mess (and the tears) to a minimum, even on the steamiest summer days when melting, dripping popsicles turn your little one into a hot, sticky mess.

To get you in the mood for the warmer days ahead, today I’m sharing our current go-to-popsicle recipe. It’s as simple as can be, and my kids can’t get enough!

1 cup vanilla yogurt (we love, love, LOVE Siggi’s)
1 cup frozen mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and/or blackberries)
½ cup vanilla almond milk

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on high until smooth. Pour into popsicle molds and freeze until solid. Enjoy!

What are your little ones’ favorite warm weather treats? Any amazing popsicle recipes I should try out this year?
