Welcome to our series spotlighting our Featured Vendors from our Vendor Guide. The guide includes carefully curated vendors from the baby and children’s industry in design, retail, special services and much more.

One of my daughter’s favorite things to do is to read. She will climb up into my lap with a book at least twenty times a day, and that’s why I am so excited to share I See Me! with you today. I See Me! makes personalized books for your littles. Whether you are looking for a new story to add to your baby’s library or a birthday or holiday gift for a child in your life, I See Me! books make the perfect present. They have every topic imaginable, from personalized fairy tales to books about pirates, trucks and learning the ABCs. These books have your child’s name in them and can also have photos of them. What a fun surprise for your little one!

Children's Book from I See Me!

What about I See Me! makes you most proud?
I am most proud of the responses that we receive from children and parents. Children are so proud of their I See Me! personalized books that they bring them to school for show-and-tell. Parents get teary-eyed when they receive our books as gifts because the books are all about their child.

Do you have a signature product or design element?
In our best-selling My Very Own Name book, entertaining animals bring letters one by one to spell out the first and last names of your child in rhyme. At the end, the animals celebrate because they have created the perfect name for your child. It helps children learn to recognize letters and spell their names, and it makes them feel really special!

What advice do you have for parents when curating their nurseries? Any nursery must-haves?
Babies love it when you read books to them. Even though your baby may not understand the story, your baby will enjoy hearing your voice, seeing the bright colors and learning how books are read by helping you turn the pages. The must-have books for a nursery are The Very Hungry Caterpillar (Eric Carle), Counting Kisses (Karen Katz), My Very Own Name (Maia Haag), Goodnight Moon (Margaret Wise Brown), Who Loves Me? (Jennifer Dewing), The Giving Tree (Shel Silverstein) and My Very Merry Christmas (Jennifer Dewing).

Where do you find your inspiration?
I have been inspired to write a personalized children’s book each time I’ve had a baby—although it’s not a sustainable source of inspiration, I might add! There is something about bringing a new life into the world that makes my mind think in new and creative ways. In addition, I love talking with children about stories, and we ask our customers what they wish I See Me! offered that we do not yet sell.

Tell us your motto.
Put your foot into the water, and before long, you’ll be knee-deep in your dreams. If there is something that you’ve always wanted to try in your life, start taking small steps. You may not know the whole path in advance, but one step will lead to the next.

Does your child’s bookshelf need a new addition? Check out I See Me! in our Vendor Guide to find the perfect personalized story.
