That’s an easy answer—it’s the outstanding quality of our products and our customer service! Every order that ships out of our Canadian factory has been given individual attention and care because we know it will be a baby using our products. From our experienced production staff that handcrafts our bedding and accessories, to the members of our talented design team who ensure that everything is soft and safe, to our customer service and shipping departments, everyone is committed to the same level of excellence that goes into the Sweet Kyla brand.
Do you have a signature product or design element?
Today’s parents are upscale—they want a chic look for baby’s room, but they still want the nursery to look baby-ish. We fill both needs by using trendy home decor fabrics for the bedding and adding the baby element into the room accents. The bedding may be stylish enough for any room in the house, but the adorable wall art, cute mobiles and novelty pillows give baby’s space lots of whimsy and character.
We offer our bedding and accessories with many different options so that we can give our customers the ability to mix and match bedding items to create their own look in the nursery. Our best signature product is our Lifetime Crib Sheet, one of the best crib sheets on the market. The fabric is a soft ring-spun combed cotton that is knit in Canada and dyed with non-toxic, low impact dyes. The sheets are elasticized all the way around and guaranteed to always fit the mattress, especially after repeated washings. They’re available individually or as part of our bedding sets. Remember that baby spends a lot of time sleeping on a crib sheet, so it’s got to be the best!

What is your biggest piece of advice for new parents?
When it comes to buying the baby bedding, we think it’s a good idea that some or all of the bedding pieces be neutral. Gray is such a trendy, unisex color, and just about every other color looks great with it. It’s such an easy way to decorate—add the main bedding pieces in gray, and then incorporate other colors in area rugs, toss pillows, wall art, etc. And remember, too, that keeping the bedding gender-neutral will allow you to hand it down to the next baby.

Where do you find your inspiration?
Parents are our main inspiration. We welcome any and all comments from our customers regarding colors and styles for our bedding. Fabric is another source of inspiration for us. We are continually searching for new patterns and colors from all over the world.
