Bib + Teether = Awesome Baby Accessory

My daughter was never a big drooler—I rarely had to put a bib on her to keep her clothes dry, but I think we’re about to experience the other end of the spectrum with my son. He is seriously the happiest baby, but that million dollar smile is almost always accompanied by raspberries, spit bubbles and lots and lots of drool. Don’t get me wrong—I could kiss that slobbery little face all day long, but I think this time around I’m going to have to accessorize with bibs so that I can keep the daily outfit changes to a minimum.

Neckerchew from Cheeky Chompers

There’s an endless selection of bibs out there, but they’re not all created equal. I wanted a stylish bib that was soft and absorbent, and the Neckerchew checks off all of my must-haves. It combines all the cuteness of a baby accessory with the functionality of a bib, plus it features a built-in teether!

The Neckerchew is available in 15 designs, and each one is reversible. I’m a tiny bit obsessive about making sure that my kids’ clothes match, so I love that I have two color choices in one bib. It makes putting together outfits a snap, and the pop of color is so much fun.

Along with the cute factor, the functional aspects of the Neckerchew are on point. It’s made from jersey cotton that’s as soft as it is absorbent, and there’s a middle layer that locks in moisture so it won’t soak through and irritate baby’s delicate skin. It fastens with snaps that are so convenient, and there are two sets to allow the bib to grow with baby.

We all know that with teeth comes even more drool, so the Neckerchew’s attached teether—which is BPA and phthalate-free, of course—is genius. My son isn’t teething yet, but he’s a pro at putting things in his mouth, so he’s definitely breaking it in!
