Welcome to our series spotlighting our Featured Vendors from our Vendor Guide. The guide includes carefully curated vendors from the baby and children’s industry in design, retail, special services and much more.
It is our pleasure to introduce you to Juaneice Munoz, the talented designer behind Casa Bebé, a company that offers traditional interior services, custom projects and e-design ideas. Case Bebé’s concierge services are available to clients in Orange County, California, and Scottsdale, Arizona, and they have an amazing design delivery service for clients who live outside of those areas. Juaneice also writes for Big City Moms and Mommy Hot Spot, and you can find her design work featured in multiple publications and blogs. Enjoy reading her wise words about multitasking on many different projects and how her inspiration drives her talent!
What about Casa Bebé makes you most proud?
I am the most proud of our ability to transform spaces and evoke an emotional response from clients. I love this part of the job. It is the sharing of a beautiful gift. I am especially pleased by the happiness it brings the clients when they realize that the room design will work for years to come.
Do you have a signature product or design element?
Our signature design element is our ability to make a child’s room sophisticated enough for an adult yet playful enough for a child or baby. We get requests for themed rooms all the time and approach them the same way we would any project. We want our clients to experience the benefit of having a designer, so we bring things to the design that they do not expect but are overjoyed to have.
What can we expect from you this year?
This year you can expect to see me providing more design tips and best practices, sharing all the wonderful nursery room favorites I can find and creating more chic and fun nursery and children’s spaces.
What do you think people might not know about Casa Bebé that you’d like to share?
We love to have fun! Design can be scary or intimidating for so many. We are here to work with clients, demystify the process and just have fun making memories and preparing for baby.
What advice do you have for parents when curating a nursery? Any nursery must-haves?
Yes! Step outside of your comfort zone to maximize the results. For example, if you like a color on the color chart, select one that is three shades darker. It will create the impact you truly want but were afraid to try. Go outside the traditional color palettes as well. All the basic furniture staples will still work, and you will have a nursery you and baby will adore. One of my nursery must-haves is an area rug! This is one of the easiest ways to really set your nursery apart.
Tell us your motto.
People don’t care how much you know unless they know how much you care! Each job is a learning experience, and over the years, I have learned to appreciate new opportunities and the people and families I’ve had the honor of meeting.
