Organize with Urbio + Giveaway

I was always a crafty kind of kid, and I’d really like to instill the same love of making things in my kids. Recently, I realized we just weren’t doing enough of the crafty stuff I loved as a child. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that all of their art supplies were packed up in a tub, on a shelf too high for them to reach, you think?

I wanted a solution that put things at their fingertips, ready to be used at a moment’s notice but still keep everything fairly neat. Enter Urbio, the cool magnetic storage system that can be used for nearly everything you can think of—from art supplies to plants!

Urbio Happy Family

It’s a simple system of wall plates and containers that attach to the plates magnetically. You can rearrange the containers on the plates as needed.

I added the Happy Family—what we’re giving away today (details below!)—to my kids’ work area, and I feel better with the space already. Along with an inexpensive set of drawers that disguises some of the messier craft supplies, I can keep the tools my kids use often ready to use in the Urbio.

Tip: In the “wide mouth” section, I added a layer of dry beans to help the smaller craft supplies stand upright.

You can buy a kit, like the Happy Family or the Big Happy Family, or mix and match the wall plates and containers a la carte depending on your needs.

Urbio began as an urban garden solution. You can see examples of cool wall gardens created by users in their online gallery. I can imagine so many uses for Urbio. I would love to add one to my kitchen, and, of course, I thought of diaper organization for our Project Nursery readers. How would you use it?
