Project Addison: A Girl’s Room Makeover

My little girl is growing up! This year we’ve said goodbye to lunch bunch and play groups and entered the world of strict school schedules and homework. Addison’s outside world is changing, so I thought it would be the perfect time to give her “inside” world a transformation as well.

Addison is five, so I knew she’d want to input her own design ideas, and since I didn’t think we could convince my husband to install a mini enchanted castle in her room, we needed to call in the professionals. Get ready, Project Nursery readers, because we have an amazing team of guest designers to help us create Addison’s new room, The Novogratz! I am overwhelmed with excitement!

Project Addison

I’ve followed the amazing husband and wife duo, Cortney and Robert Novogratz, for years and nearly fell off my chair when the news broke that they were going to personally create a space for my daughter. They are famous for their one-of-a kind decorating style and their jaw-dropping designs. They’ve created unique spaces in Manhattan, LA and beyond and are famous for fabulous design transformations. They recently launched their 9 by Novogratz line that’s been popping up in room designs everywhere. I couldn’t wait to see what they had in store for Addison.

Let’s get down to business! Here is the layout they had in mind for Addison’s future space.
