BabyBjörn High Chair: Dining in Style

It’s no secret that you all, Project Nursery’s readers, are a design-conscious bunch. And, as you know, good kid’s design doesn’t stop in the nursery, it should also—or even especially—apply to the baby items in the rest of your home. Who wants a giant, clunky high chair on wheels floating around their kitchen or dining room? There’s nothing like a jungle-themed high chair to throw off your home’s decor. BabyBjörn—a company that has long known that safe and functional children’s products can also look great—has yet again come to our rescue with their sleek and stylish BabyBjörn High Chair.

Its no-fuss style allows you to pair the chair with other dining products for a sweet splash of color during meal time without a crazy clashing of patterns.

BabyBjörn spent nearly a decade perfecting the design of their high chair. They were determined to make the safest and most user-friendly chair that they could, and the proof is in the product today. Its smooth surface and curved design make cleanup a snap—none of those annoying nooks and crannies to have to dig out crumbs or discover month-old spills under an ugly fabric liner (yuck!). The detachable tray is dishwasher safe too.

With its ergonomic design, one-handed locking tray mechanism and safety harness, your baby will be safe and snug—and comfortable!—sitting in the BabyBjörn High Chair. Plus, the small footprint of the chair allows it to be pulled right up to the table, so baby can be part of the dinner conversation with the family. The chair also folds up to a trim 10 inches if you ever need to tuck it away. Really that’s what great design is all about—making your life easier, safer and a little prettier too.

The only BabyBjörn product I have tried is the soft bib and it is my favorite among all the bibs we have. I love how it catches food bits and how I don’t have to deal with removing stains.

Tasha, I am personally obsessed with the BabyBjorn bib too! It’s like baby armor and the only bib that has every worked for us.

Oh how I love the simple styling yet super fuctionality of the BabyBjorn high chair! I’m 8 months pregnant and have been looking around for a great high chair like this. Unfortunately, it’s out of my price range. I did use the BabyBjorn bibs, plate/bowl spoons with my son and loved them. I will definitely be buying them again (but in pink this time) for my baby girl.

Ooh, I just checked out their website too. The Baby Carrier Air in that organic gray looks like a good buy!

I agree, tasha. this bib is absolutely convenient and low-maintenance. i don’t even have to throw bigger food pieces that don’t make it to the mouth but don’t make it to the floor either, as long as the bib catches it, it’s never wasted.
