This nursery was designed and decorated by my husband, my mom, and I for our first daughter, Bella.  We envisioned a vintage feel with a soothing soft pastel color palette.  We also incorporated family heirlooms to give her room an even deeper meaning.  Since I was going to be staying home with my daughter, we knew we had to create a beautiful space on a limited budget.  To me, design is much easier when you have a large budget.  You have to really plan ahead and use every ounce of creativity when you are designing on a dime!

We are a family of three from Oklahoma. I recently quit teaching to be a stay at home mom to our daughter, Bella. I am a thrift/antique store junkie and nothing thrills me more than a good DIY project! I spend all of Bella's nap times blogging, pinning, and making messes with my many DIY projects I have going on in my garage. :) I love creating beauty out of something that would have been forgotten.

Absolutely gorgeous. I just love so many details of this nursery, like the vanity; the little round mirror; the cute little clock; the comb, brush and hand mirror set, the bird mobile, etc.

Looks beautiful! We are in the beginning stages of designing a blue nursery for our baby girl, so it is nice to see how you made this look so feminine!

I love everything about this room! What color paint did you use for the wall? I looked up Restoration Hardware’s “Gravel” but it looked VERY grey compared to what you have, so I’m assuming that was only used for the details.
