Giveaway: Your Dream FLOR Rug

Including a rug in your child’s room or play space can add just the right touch to make the room feel truly complete. The problem is, choosing the perfect rug can be tricky. Depending on the room’s decor, you may want something simple or you may want to make the rug more of a focal point.

FLOR has the perfect solution—you create the rug that’s just right for you with their tile system. Each FLOR tile is 19.7″ square, and they come in a wide range of colors, patterns and textures. You can mix and match the tiles in any combination that suits your fancy. You’ll see some examples below of creating borders, mixing textures and checkerboard designs.

I love the subtle effect created by alternating textures in the same color.

With plenty of patterns and colors available, you’ll find just the right match for your nursery or child’s room decor. You can create something classic or quirky. It’s up to you!

Super easy to install, you’ll have your new rug set up in no time. Check out Pam’s FLOR video to see a demonstration. While FLOR tiles are durable and you can clean them like any other rug, I love the fact that if there was a real rug catastrophe—like a grape juice spill gone unnoticed for days, you can simply swap in a new square.

You can create a soothing color scheme and a soft surface for your little one to play on.

WIN IT! One lucky Project Nursery reader will win any 30 tiles (creates a rug approximately 8′ x 10′) in any choice of color or pattern (with the exception of the Floresse collection).

HOW TO ENTER: To enter, visit FLOR and let us know in a comment which pattern (or patterns!) you’d like to have in your nursery, playroom or toddler’s room. Contest ends Friday, January 6, 2012 at 11:59pm PST.

    January 1, 2012

I love all your carpeting options but Feelin’ Groovy has a lot of colors we would love! Not sure what color(s) would look best for where we need carpeting & I wasn’t planning to enter since I didn’t feel we really needed or had room for an area rug although our living room (play area for my son & baby to be) only has had a carpet remnant from Lowe’s for quite some time. Not so fancy but it did the job for a soft play area for kids on our hard tile. However, Saturday at 2 a.m. we woke to our entire downstairs flooding with 1-2 inches of water from a bursted hot water heater and the 2 floor rugs & carpet matting underneath that we had – 1 in living/play area & 1 in office area were both damaged & not in good shape. So, we’d LOVE to win one of your beautiful style flooring rugs!! So, here is our entry!

We would LOVE Rake me over in Toy Poodle in Lime. I love this one as reminds me of the outdoors. Needless to say, life is extremely hectic for us right now! However, my husband and I did take some time to play around and daydream with the editing tool on flor.com. :) We love how many ideas we came up with for rugs in our new home. For the nursery, I would love the Toy Poodle and Rake Me Over in Lilac. :)

I love the Flor tiling system! For me I think I’d love a simple checkerboard arrangement like this photo, which is really how I started hunting for a rug tiling system to begin with. I attempted to build it with the Flor builder but don’t know which one is the closest to the light beige swatch:

    http://2.bp.blogspot.com/–C8zZf8c4UA/TqNyW6J26XI/AAAAAAAACTA/PLdAWgdt1TE/s1600/110166660_O5uH2wWt_c.jpg

Really liking the Crossroads in both Cloud or Sugar (both look great). Also like the Feelin’ Groovy in many colors that are offered, Java, Bone, Red, Mist (possibly). Would be a really tough choice but all options would be great for a playspace for our 3 year old & 2nd baby due next month. We currently have all tile in the downstairs floor of our home. My wife cringes & gets very nervous every time our 3 year old falls since our last home also had all tile in the main areas of the house & once our now 3 year old first began walking, he fell and chipped one of his front teeth on the hard tile floor! My wife would be over the moon if we won this giveaway!
