It’s no secret the lovely ladies of Layla Grayce hold a special place in our hearts, and we mean this both professionally and personally. Three years have flown by, and our original sponsors have now become our friends, which is why we are genuinely thrilled for Layla Grayce co-founder Tiffany Harris and the impending arrival of her twins.
Talented event planner Sarah Westbrook and Layla Grayce co-founding partner Wendy Estes (coincidentally, another mom of twins!) came together earlier this month to throw one incredible baby shower bash. Longtime friends, Wendy and Tiffany have a certain charm and sophistication, so it’s no surprise that the twins’ fête was ALL Layla Grayce!
The celebration took place at a friend’s breathtaking Pasadena, CA estate. And all the gorgeous photos you are about to enjoy were beautifully captured by photographer Tara Rochelle.
The shower’s theme boasted vintage newspaper print and incorporated neutral hues, natural textures and, of course, classic black and white. The casual-elegant feel was created with online shop favorites such as these Aidan Gray decorative pillows scattered along a rustic bench juxtaposed with Eloquence gold-trimmed chairs. A galvanized side table by Aidan Gray topped with the Grenich Urn table lamp also gave this vintage-inspired shower a modern edge.
Clever details such as name tags applied with decorative tape, garlands flourishing from newspaper print, a bistro-style lunch menu and a newspaper crossword activity completed the theme.
Lunch was served, and beautifully displayed, buffet style.
Flowers of choice? Simple white hydrangeas wrapped in newspaper and tied in jute string nestled into numbered crates from Gabby.
The lovely dessert table showcased a lemon cake filled with lemon curd and cream cheese frosting (designed by Sara Westbrook and Sam Pothier), flanked by carrot cake cupcakes displayed on Aidan Gray Metal plate stands and Hostess-style, old-fashioned cupcakes.
The grand shower gift came in the form of Valco’s Tri Mode Ex Twin Stroller.
Baby gifts that topped Tiffany’s favorite list include her twin’s new Blabla dolls and Aden Anais Swaddle Blankets!
