Help for the Sleep Deprived Parent!

A hilarious, if not a little naughty, book for grown ups by Adam Mansbach about the perils of sleep in any home with youngsters has been burning up the blogosphere with its very direct message. Please, please, please child go to sleep! Sleep-deprived parents raising young children are willing to try just about anything if it means more rest for both parent and child. ZAZOO Kids has created a clock that’s first priority is more sleep for all.

A great solution for kids who wake up too early, the ZAZOO photo clock is designed for children as young as toddlers—even before they can tell time. The pre-programmed “awake” and “asleep” images make it easy for children to see when it’s okay to get out of bed or when they should still be sleeping. With the large digital time and date display, it’s also a great way to introduce telling time to your child.

The ZAZOO photo clock comes in several color and pattern options. Personally, I like the sleek, contemporary white version. Additional multimedia features, like rotating photo and MP3 capabilities, ensure the clock will grow with your child, and in my opinion, teaching kids better sleep habits can never start too young.

This concept is great!! I have read in a family magazine article before to teach toddlers when it is time to get up with a similar idea; however, the price of this one is not so appeasing. A $89 alarm clock? Sheesh.
