Little Nest Hits the States

If you have ever traveled to Australia you know that those Aussies have some serious style. There is a a great women’s boutique here in San Francisco that carries only Australian designers and I’m often found admiring the stunning designs. I wasn’t surprised when I discovered Australian owned modern furniture company Little Nest. They focus on creating stylish, fun and functional furnishings for children which compliment today’s contemporary family home. My favorite pieces are their kids chairs which are child size replicas of well known “grown-up” designs from classic 20th century modern style. They have miniaturized iconic styles like the Egg chair and the Eames lounge chair.

Already available at upscale department stores like Barneys and Fred Segal in the US, Little Nest will soon be available in 40 more retailers nationwide. They are focused on creating products that not only look good, but are built to become vintage classics themselves. Mini modernists everywhere must be rejoicing in Little Nest!
