Little Apple Design created their first toddler room “e-design” inspiration board for a little boy called JoeJoe. The time had come for JoeJoe to move up in the world, out of the nursery and into a proper “big boy” room. Our goal was to present a modern and vibrant take on his absolute favorite sport, basketball. Using aqua and orange along with shades of navy and gray as a color palette we came up with a fun and age appropriate plan for the room. Here’s a peek into JoeJoe’s Toddler Room.
Oh, you know the saying, right? “Paris is never a bad idea?” We feel the same way about French style in nursery design—it’s always a yes for us. As one of the top picks from our 2024 nursery design trends, we knew that classic, elegant, and luxurious-feeling nurseries would be gaining traction. […]

Great use of the color orange, especially with the basketball theme!
My favorite is the basketball player decal which will be a focal pt for sure!

Great design transition – from nursery to toddler! Love the colors and design and the beds…are you willing to disclose where you sourced the beds? (I’m looking for some like that for a client, so far I’ve only found the ones Pottery Barn has.) Thanks, Jill at JSInteriorDes@aol.com

I love the beds. Where could I find them? My kids share a room and these would be perfect!

Ok, one freebie :) Visit Potterybarn Teen for great furniture (ie corner beds) and decor – just as ideal for your tot! It’s so easy to overlook PBT with all the PB kids stiff out there these days.

Thanks for the lead – I had been looking at Pottery Barn, just not PB Teen – must go check! Thanks!!

any chance you will share where the rug and the goldfish painting are from? It would be perfect for my grandson’s room. His theme is the vintage heather Ross Lightning Bugs and Other Mysteries VW bugs and gold fish.
if you need to keep it for your business, I understand. But I was thinking that you could charge per item per inquiry. I am sure people would pay $20 – $50 to find out where those great items are from, even if they can’t design a whole room! what do you think?

where is the description for this one? love to know where to get the things. thanks!

Love the color combination. The orange is such a soothing orange…gives just the right pop of color to the blue room.
Thanks for sharing.

Where did you get that basketball hoop?? I love it? I have a toddler who loves sports but hate theme rooms. This is great.
