Description
Simple pale green nursery with touches of pink.
Design Inspiration
I was inspired by the nurseries on Project Nursery and a cute bunny wreath I found at World Market during Easter season. I've always loved the Beatrix Potter bunnies but didn't want to use cartoonish or stock nursery items. I wanted a simple green nursery with touches of pink - and went a little crazy with the pink closet!
Decorating Style
Simple, classic and functional.
Project Details
I did a lot of research online for good deals and didn't limit myself to just "baby" items. I also spent money on things that would last a long time (like the dresser) and fixed up cheaper pieces (like the IKEA bookcase) with fabric . I allowed myself a few splurges like the Serena & Lily bedding but got it 20% off during a sale. Adding small touches like ribbon to the closet boxes or the hangers personalizes each item. Not to mention this nursery can be easily repurposed for a boy's room by changing the pink items. The base color is green and white.

Thank you so much for posting! I think I've found my nursery theme! :) I've had pet rabbits all my life, my last one is now 9 years old, and blind so I don't think he'll be making it much longer. What a wonderful way to honor my sweet bunnies!

The bunny wreath is so adorable! And I really like the sweet, feminine and soft colors you used.
