Five Fab Etsy Art Finds!

Art is like the icing on the cake when decorating a nursery, that final step to really make a room pop!  Etsy is the perfect place to find that affordable stretched canvas, whimsical print or modern wall decal.  As an Etsy seller myself, I know when you buy directly from the artist the experience is more meaningful and personal. I searched high and low on Etsy to find cool pieces that would look great in just about any room. What makes these pieces affordable is that they are “print only” which means you can dress it up with custom color mats and frames to make it your own.  I personally love pictureframes.com for custom matting and framing.  The best part,  all their frames come with an acrylic face, rather than glass, making it a safer option when hanging in a little one’s room. So without further ado, here are my top five Etsy finds for your nursery and beyond:

1. Alphabet Soup – Alphabet Print by Sugar Fresh. I just love a good alphabet print, and this one is super cool.  The pink and brown color scheme is so classic, and with the addition of some soft blue’s and brown’s as well, this one would work great in any room.

2. Three Nursery Transportation Prints by Indira Albert. I am a huge fan of her whole shop, but I really love this set of three “things that go” prints.  Great for a boy’s room, and she has some similar looking sets for girls as well.

3. I Love Cars and Bikes by Parada Creations. Keeping with the “things that go” theme, this set of two prints is classic and cute.  She uses lots of different colors, making them the perfect complement to most nursery color schemes.

4. Cherry Blossom Branch Wall Decal by Surface Inspired. The floral theme is so sweet in a little girl’s room.  One can choose from a whopping 33 custom colors to complement your color scheme.

5. Giraffe Print by Trendy Peas. This is another Etsy shop that I love.  They offer very cool graphic prints, canvases and wall decals.  This giraffe print really caught my eye and they offer the same print in several different colors.

I always get drawn to cherry blossoms. Love this wall decal. And speaking of cherry blossoms, it reminds me of a photo I have seen earlier of a cherry blossom tree in Japan with new flowers, signaling the coming of spring and symbolizing hope amidst their tragedy. I have never viewed cherry blossoms in such a profound way before.
