Happy Spring! Kim from The TomKat Studio here, reporting on one of my favorite things…..tissue paper pom poms! Being the party girl I am, they are a staple for most events I work on. However, I’ve noticed a trend of them being used not only for parties and weddings, but to decorate rooms, most often nurseries. I thought I share a few photos I’ve been collecting of poms used in home decorating, along with a few of my favorite party pom images!

My favorite sources for Poms:
Pom Love on Etsy
Martha Stewart
Traylor Papers
or DIY!
I will be hosting a giveaway for a set of 5 poms from POM LOVE next week,
over at The TomKat Studio!
Come on over and join the party!

Beautiful! My sister and I used to make these all the time when we were little. I don’t think we displayed them as nicely, though.
I just posted a tissue paper pom pom tutorial on my site the other day:

These are beautiful….I especially love the way the poms look hanging from the chandeliers! Using them outdoors is also a great look! Thanks for sharing…

I LOVE poms and I actually have the Lili Pulitzer pink and green ones hanging over my baby’s crib. Here is a link to my baby’s nursery photo album from my Facebook page if you are interested in seeing it. It’s all pinks and greens and Amy Butler fabrics! :)

I made these for my daughters 1st birthday this weekend…I was wondering what I was going to do with them. Now I’m going to hang them in her room, too cute!

Beautiful ideas!! I just wanted to stop by and say hi after a reader pointed out that my daughter’s nursery was featured here, but credited to someone else (Blue pompoms over white crib).
Hope you have a great day~

What did you hang yours with above the crib? I have popcorn ceilings and can’t get them to stay. I don’t want them falling on my baby at night.
