This nursery was designed when I found out that my husband and I were having a baby girl. I wanted the room to be fun and bright and love the turquoise and coral color combination.

After moving to a new apartment, I decided to give Samar’s nursery a little makeover. We are hoping to stay here for the next 2-3 years so I wanted to give Samar a “big girl” room that she could grow into.

Owen’s nursery is a sophisticated, gender neutral Nautical Nursery inspired by my father’s love of all things lake related! Growing up around water is such a fond memory of mine that I wanted to pass it on to Owen.
Our second daughter, Kate, sleeps in this nursery, and we love how happy and bright the room is!

We are preparing this pink, mint and grey nursery for our baby girl, due in October. I wanted to create a special room that felt peaceful and beautiful. I love soft, pastel colors and wanted to give her a space she could grow into. I decided early on that I would not have a “theme”, but rather a color scheme and overarching ideas of what I wanted the room to feel like. Within the light gray walls you’ll find different shades of pink and mint with gold accents running throughout.
When we moved into a new home recently it was the perfect opportunity to trade in our daughter’s nursery for a “big girl room”. I wanted a cheerful and bold space for our colorful girl, but I also love fresh, bright rooms, so decided to go with a white backdrop and add happy punches of pink, turquoise and yellow. This room just makes me happy every time I walk by, and I love how it reflects the fun personality of our little girl.
When we found out we were expecting a boy I started looking for nursery ideas right away. I fell in love with the Michael Miller Zoology fabric, and the rest of the nursery kind of shaped itself around that.

We wanted to create a space that we’d look forward to spending time in. My husband and I didn’t want the nursery to end up being just another room we didn’t fully utilize. If it was beautiful and functional, we would love to be in there! We also wanted his nursery to not have that “baby look” and be something that he will grow into.

We wanted to create a vibrant room that can grow with Isla. We selected fabrics from Carousel Designs and paired them with white furniture pieces and an ivory glider and textured rug.
After moving into our new home, it was time to put together the perfect room for my little ladies.
