This project is about an elephant themed nursery room. A beautiful handmade nursery mobile with two wall decorations and two stuffed animals will absolutely add some color to your nursery!
nursery for the son we are in the process of adopting
A nursery filled with wonderment for foster infants was my goal in this space and since San Francisco homes and apartments are notoriously small, narrow spaces, I used a large walk-in closet to try to create a warm, inviting nursery. Bold colors layered with beautiful fabrics both brighten and soften the room, and my husband and I loved painting the ceiling pale blue which was an easy project that took no time at all. It’s a joy to spend time here, especially knowing it will soon be home to babies who need a loving place to stay for a time, maybe even forever.
We wanted a baby room that can grow up as the kids get older. Also due to the small size of the room we wanted to keep baby things to a minimum. Also wanted to keep it low cost, but fun.
This is my first nursery. My fiance and I wanted everything to be extra beautiful for our daughter. We wanted to have a dream nursery… I used a few different painting techniques. I also wanted to incorporate a chair rail and crown molding into this project. The clouds are hand painted by myself and I also painted a few animals into the clouds. (rabbit, giraffe, elephant, zebra)
Although I am having a boy, I still wanted my nursery to be pretty. I spent a lot of time researching and collecting inspiration, like 8 months worth! This is the result.
