Bowen’s Nursery
Bowen’s new nursery!
Bowen’s new nursery!
This is our nursery for our baby girl Quincy who is due on November 30th.
I wanted to create a happy nursery for my little man. I chose items that made me smile – the mobile, the expressions on the pull toys, stuffed animals and etsy prints.
We created the back drop for his nursery with the real wood paneled wall. We brought in the pop of color with the pillows, furniture ect;
Light and Airy Nursery
After having four beautiful girls, I wanted a definite boys room. I wanted it to be simple, modern, and classy. I wanted a soft grayish-blue tone on the wall that can be kept as he grows. It has a little bit of golf, and a little of everything else. I did not want a bedding “set” for the crib. It looks cleaner and uncluttered this way, and it is safer for baby.
We live in a (very vertical) city rowhome and need to take advantage of every inch. The nursery has to play many roles: a comfortable baby bedroom, a spacious playroom, and a den that’s grown-up enough for us to want to spend time in.
I had lots of ideas for Eric’s nursery that I had been collecting since I designed Julia’s room 4 years ago (it was featured on Project Nursery a couple of years back). I knew I wanted gray and yellow to be the main colors and started there. I also decided to design the fabrics and (learn how to) sew the textiles and create the wall art for the room, so it was my major DIY project for a while.
Fun, colorful & modern nursery. White walls are the perfect backdrop for bright pops of color in the furniture, wall art & accessories. A bold blue navy wall helps to give the illusion of depth in the small space. It also makes the white crib pop. This room was created to stand the test of time & not need to be redone once our son is a “big boy”.
A fun and happy space for our eagerly expected arrival! I combined a bit of old and new and a few circus-y elements without sticking to a theme. I also DIY’ed a lot of elements for a personal touch.
A charming vintage inspired boy’s room that is not too dark or girly. I wanted it to feel calming, but very boyish.
