Blush, Gold, & Stenciled Little Diamonds

Tricia is a creative mama and the fabulous DIYer behind the blog Suburban Bitches.  Tricia’s little girl, Alice, was ready for a room makeover so she scoured the web for inspiration before landing on her blush and gold vision.  First she painted the walls a pretty shade of blush pink using Sherwin Williams’s White Dogwood.  Then she painted the bed frame, purchased new bedding, and added some sophisticated accessories like the lamp.  Tricia felt the room needed pattern to bring it to life so she decided to stencil an accent wall.  Tricia and her daughter fell in love with our Little Diamonds Allover Stencil, a whimsical diamond shaped pattern.  She used painter’s tape to hold the stencil in place and a dense foam roller to paint the pattern in a sparkly gold hue.  Here is her newly stenciled tween girl bedroom.

J’s Room

Tried to create a long lasting room that wouldn’t need to be changed later on. Wanted it to be colorful but not too crazy so just stuck to a few basic colors.  Didn’t spend too much, stenciled the wall with a homemade stencil and made the seat for the bench.

(My camera is pretty bad and making a foggy circle in some of the pictures or a blur around the sides… just a really bad camera)

A Pastel Nursery for Baby Girl!

After we found out we were expecting we had to makeover our spare bedroom which was once home to our dirty hipster roommate, lol.  The floors were nasty and base boards were coming off.  My husband put in all new hardwood floors new freshly painted base boards and a fresh coat of paint (Cobblestone from Martha Stewart).  Now it looks like a beautiful little girl lives in there!
