Star Gazer Nursery

A fun twist on a celestial theme. I’m a bit of a Star Wars nerd and of anything galactic. I knew I wanted to model a room with subtle accents of the two. My overall inspiration came from the Storm Trooper so I opted on an overall white color scheme with touches of grey and black. I came across this chandelier from Ikea, which reminds me of the Death Star. We received this awesome solar system mobile as a gift (from pottery barn) which adds a pop of color to the space (pun). My favorite feature of the room is the half moon wall. I’m obsessed with ferm living half moon wall paper, but one wall would have costed the entire budget of my room. So I decided to DIY it. Which ended up costing me about $15 in supplies and 6 hours worth of work!

Ocean Meets the Sky Star Nursery

My inspiration was a piece of artwork that was a wave made out of stars and another piece of children’s art called “where the ocean meets the sky”. I wanted to incorporate stars and the sea in the nursery and these pieces of art helped my vision come to life! I had a vendor on Etsy make me a sign that said “where the ocean meets the sky I’ll be Sailing”. Little by little I added designs of the sea and the sky

Baby L’s Star Themed Nursery

I designed this nursery for my clients, who weren’t sure if they were having a boy or a girl.  Based on a special childhood memory of my clients, we used a star theme and created a soft, delicate but fun nursery.  The star wall is the feature of the room and we used decals from Urban Walls.  My clients installed the decals and they have done the most brilliant job…..they are mm perfect!
