For our second daughters nursery we wanted a preppy/nautical feel, so we decided to go with navy and pink for our color scheme. She is still sleeping in our room so we don’t have her changing station set up in her room yet.
Here is my pink and navy nautical nursery for my newborn baby, Piper. Many of the items are from Etsy, IKEA and Pottery Barn Kids.
It was a huge shock to find out we were having identical twin girls. We have a 3 year old son who is very “boy” so I wanted to do a super girly room.
The campaign dressers and peacock chair are vintage finds. The Caitlin Wilson fabric (which has recently become so popular!) was the jumping off point for the entire space. Since I spent so many hours in this nursery really wanted a room that my twin girls would enjoy and something that I would feel happy and comfortable in.
This baby girl nautical nursery was a project my husband and I spent many weekends working on and designing. We wanted our daughter’s first room to be light, airy, girly, fun, and most importantly comfortable for her to start her life in! We are very happy with the end result, and everytime I walk into her room I get a smile across my face.
This is our first baby, and I was convinced we were having a boy. I had started planning out a boy nursery using the colors gray, blue and green. At our 20 week ultrasound, we learned my intuition was wrong and “he” was actually a “she”! Good thing, because my husband and I could not agree on a boy’s name that we both liked ;)
A chic nursery full of textures and patterns for our sweet girl.
