Sweet as a Peach Nursery

With baby girl being born in Georgia, we wanted to create a “Sweet as a Peach” theme that was soft but not too girly.  We thought a bright peach was the perfect color to complete the job!  We also incorporated a customized, one of a kind accent wall with a wonder woman-like “M” design. Don’t shy away from using bold colors that can bring your room to life!

Eclectic Rosé

We chose this project because we were expecting our first ever child. We found out we were having a girl so we decided to step out the box a bit with accent color. The design on the wall was widely used on Pintrest. It was a clean look that we liked. So instead of the olive green that we always saw online, we played around with pink. We ended up with a pastel pink and couldn’t be more happier. Advice I’d give to fellow readers, pick colors and paint them on the wall and look at them every day during the day, night, light on, light off. You’ll be happier in the end. Also, measure measure measure! It’s true what say, always make sure your furniture is the right size for the room. Have fun!

Michaela’s Pretty Peach Nursery

This nursery was put together in 2 days.  My sister-in-law had a baby girl (we didn’t know the gender before birth)!  I soon as I left the hospital to meet my new niece for the first time I went shopping.  Furniture was already purchased but everything else was new.  Bedding from Babies R US, all other decor from Home Goods, Target, Joann Fabric and Michaels.  Some things were personalized such as the lamp and M initial.  I was able to design this nursery on a very low budget.  Love the way it came.  Honored that I was able to create it for my new niece.  The room was ready when Mom and baby returned home.
