Green and Blue Nursery with Dragon and Owl Details

I made this green and blue nursery for my first child, a little boy! I put all my love in this and made lots of things myself. I painted the walls a “Carribean” color, sew the pennant garland above the crib, crocheted the dragon hand puppet, did the mobile above the crib and designed the gallery wall. It was so much fun and I love this room, I hope my baby boy will too (currently he doesn’t care much, he’s only 3 months old ;-))

Naia’s Naturalistic Nursery

We wanted something clean and simple with just pops of colors against browns and whites. When we found out we were having a girl, we tried to stick to pinks and greens. We wanted the room to feel organic and have touches of nature with just small hints of whimsy. Since this room is our Master Retreat, we added french doors to create some privacy and a sound barrier for Naia. We also added built-ins around the fireplace so Naia could have a “closet” and room for storage.

Colorful Owl Nursery

This is a second, more colorful take on Landon’s original nursery ( http://projectnursery.com/projects/baby-landons-owl-nursery/ ).  We spent his first year sharing a room at my parent’s house, and when he turned one we moved into a place of our own!  I kept most of the same things but changed and added a few things.
In the original nursery I really wanted to use a bright, fun paint color for the walls but it didn’t really work with the decal I chose.  So in the new nursery I made sure to chose the paint color first and the wall decal second.
Basically, it is his original nursery perfected :)
(I also included pictures of his bathroom decor since it’s connected to his room and it goes with the theme.)

Vintage Modern Owl inspired Nursery

Owl themed nursery with a vintage modern feel.  Graphic floral prints along with houndstooth and geometric designs are complimented with whimsical owls.  The room is painted with a vintage pink color from Ralph Lauren.  The bedding and drapes are custom.  The chairs are re-upholstered.  All fabric is from Joanns.  Crib sheet is Serena & Lily.  Rug and owls are Pottery Barn kids.  Artwork is DIY.  The “g” is from Etsy and the large white frame is from Ikea (spray painted white).  Any other questions please contactil me and I’ll be glad to give more specific resources.
