A Sunny Happy Place
We had just moved when we found out we were expecting baby #4 and, without a room for baby, we added another bedroom to our new home by converting the would-be office into a happy little nursery for Emmie.

I wanted a happy, fun and neutral room for our soon-to-be born twins. The bright orange color on the feature wall makes me smile every time I walk into the room. Dad and grandpa painted the room a few months ago, and the rest of the nursery came together slowly since then. All the furniture is neutral-black, white or grey, and other than the cribs, can be used in other rooms in our house once the twins are older. The biggest splurge was the chair. I opted not to go for a rocker/glider, so that we can use it in our basement family room later. Also, the chair is big and deep enough for me to doze in since there was no room for a day bed in this small room.
