Light Pink

We wanted to create a pretty princess nursery for our first little girl :)

I wanted a cute, girly nursery for Ellie. I also had a small budget to work with.  I started with the gray walls, then picked the bedding that I loved.  I loved the idea of soft pink in her room, and knew I did not want a character theme, but something that could grow with her.

I chose this nautical theme after deciding that we wanted to have my daughter, Eliza’s, 1st birthday party on the lake in our neighborhood. With a lakeside setting, a preppy pink and navy nautical celebration seemed to be the perfect fit!  After dinner, our little party guests built their own sailboats. My dad cut all the wood and my mom made the sails with leftover fabric from the backdrop. It was so cute to see a table of girls and one little boy using their hammer and nails to build sailboats. We then set sail in the lake! It was such a beautiful night and the perfect evening to celebrate our sweet girl!

A combination of light and dark pinks, white, and pool blue combined with various patterns to create an elegant and one of kind nursery.

This is the room we created for our daughter. We wanted to make it bright, fun and not too “baby”. A room that will grow with her. A lot of her furniture we already had and was given to us. We just had to find a crib to match. Our color scheme was decided by the fun toddler comforter we found.

A cottage meets vintage cozy space for our brand new daughter. Pale pinks and yellows collide with grey to create a space perfect for any little girl.

A soft, feminine and romantic nursery done is shades of petal pink, ivory and gray.

One of our customers shared a photo with us of their baby girl’s nursery. We had the honor of creating the custom initial inlay rug for the room. All of our rugs are custom made in the USA. The initial in hand inlaid, not printed or painted. Customers get to choose the shape, size, colors, and options for their rug. Our motto is:It’s your rug…your way!
