I had so much fun creating this space for my first little one. It took a lot of time and thought, but I decided to go with something soft and simple. I didn’t want to overdecorate or incorporate too many colors. I’m not very crafty but I wanted to make at least one thing to add sentimental value. So I decided to make the mobile. There are still a couple things I want to add in over time, but for now, it’s perfect for our little man.
Olivia, my daughter, was the head designer and decorator with a little bit of advice from me. I really wanted her to feel like it’s her personal room.

Cream and tan nursery with touches of baby blue and chocolate brown
This is a super budget nursery! How did I complete it for so cheap? I made the crib skirt by hand (an easy, no-sew project) and created DIY canvas art, used free online printables, and upcycled furniture from Goodwill with some spraypaint. Don’t forget shopping at the dollar store for all my organizing bins! The biggest accent in the room is the DIY stenciled wall–easy to do and super cost-effective.
The party took place at the backyard of a beautiful Greek restaurant on a hot summer day. The guests were around 100 (80 adults and 20 children).
Hudson’s nursery was designed in baby blue’s and white’s with stars and moons. The stars have a touch of silver in them.
This room was designed for my son Reed. This is my favorite mural because it was the first time I was able to create something for my own child. I started this project when I was 8 months pregnant and loved every single brush stroke. The design includes children’s songs, fables, nursery rhymes, and tons of tiny critters and animals to keep a baby entertained.

This is our sweet Baby Boy’s aqua, gray and white nursery. My husband and I had so much fun putting everything together. We hope he loves it as much as we do.
I wanted to do a Carousel themed party for my daughter since she loves riding the carousel.
Small in size. Big on elephants. Bennett’s room is only 10 feet by 9 feet. We struggled to find furniture that would fit without sacrificing comfort. The walls are painted a soft robin’s egg blue. Accent colours are grey, slate, and white. The room features several different sizes, styles, and textures of elephants.
Abigail’s nursery can be described as playful with both modern and feminine elements. I enjoy DIY projects and found inspiration through Etsy and Pinterest.

This is a nursery for our first child, baby boy, Connor James. We wanted it to be classic and soft for a baby and not too cutesy/animated. I was also mindful of purchasing items that could be reused in other areas of the house when we changed his room into a big boy room.
We were thrilled when Emerson’s parents sent us photos of her beautiful nursery featuring our white tree with silk flowers and gems!

With a new baby coming, we decided to make some changes also for Lucas, 2 years old.
My artist mother – lyndahwrightfineart.com – and I sketched out silhouettes of Peter Rabbit and his garden, then I painted them. I wanted something clean and modern but sweet, fun, and ‘gender neutral’ for our surprise baby (girl!).
