We wanted to have a small, low-key, coed, adult-friendly baby shower with our closest friends – something that wasn’t necessarily too baby-themed. As a result, we came up with the bottle theme: a beer bottle to represent my husband, a champagne/wine bottle for me, and a milk bottle for Baby Lucy.
As a baby planner one of my favorite things to do is plan a baby shower. I get to bring romantic visions to life. I don’t often get carte blanche to just do what I like, but this time was special. Armed only with the colors of the nursey and the knowledge that the new arrival would be a bouncing baby boy. I went to work, and what evolved was a fun french inspired fete’ befitting a petit garcon…..
For my second child (first boy, though!!) my mom threw a luncheon to celebrate. She was out of town the whole month before, so I got to take creative control, which was so much fun! Lots of time was spent on this website and etsy as well. So I wanted to “give back” to the site and share my special day with you!
I hosted a Country Boy Baby Shower for my sister-n-law. The location was a restaurant on the hills of the Missouri countryside over looking the Mississippi River. It could have not been a more gorgeous view.
Bird theme baby shower brunch. Feminine.
I co-hosted a baby shower for one of my childhood friends, Cortney. Her cousin, Britny, best friend, Chrystale, and myself had so much fun collaborating for this very special occasion! It turned out beautiful! It had a masculine feel with the twine and burlap mixed with the hydrangea blue but still had a touch of feminine for the mommy!
One of my best friends is expecting a baby on Christmas Day. I partnered with her sister-in-law to throw a couples baby shower for the expectant parents. Caty and Matt are not finding out the sex of their baby so we knew we needed to work within a gender neutral palette. Who doesn’t love a challenge?
This is a baby shower I hosted for my dear friend. She is such a girly girl, so we went super feminine.
