Hand-painted

This room was designed by Rylie’s Mom, Courtney and created around her eclectic modern style, her love for owls and a few sentimental gifts she received at her shower including an owl painting from a family member.
The tree is hand painted. I also hand painted 3-dimensional flowers to match the color scheme. The flowers, rhinestones and glitter paint added an extra sparkle and feminine touch to the tree. The owls are bejeweled with Swarovski crystals. The beautiful damask bedding is from Carousel Designs. The modern furniture and beautiful rug is from Pottery Barn.

This project had a strict budget so most of the items were DIY. I did not want her nursery to have a theme, because I am always changing things! The room was small so I tried not to go overboard with a lot of different colors and focused on small details for character. I hope it is a room she grows up to love! :)

Yellow and Gray Chic Nursery

This nursery was truly a labor of love for our girls that we worked so hard to conceive.  We may have been on a serious budget… but I wouldn’t have it any other way. All items are sentimental and meaningful, or pieces we poured our hearts into fixing up. We loved every minute of this journey. Total cost for EVERYTHING (all furniture, supplies, and decor!) totals out at $393.

A fun vintage modern nursery for our first born baby. The funky layout of the room forced us to get creative…

Wide pink stripes, a fairy mural and custom furniture make up this girly room that comes to us all the way from Germany. Rosa, mother to Stella and Vicky, came up with the design of the room and with a few DIY projects on her plate she was able to create a room that’s a little bit country and a little bit sweet. Here’s all the details.

When Eliott’s dad found out he was expecting a little boy, visions of perfectly manicured greens and Callaway golf clubs danced in his head. He knew the nursery needed to be golf, golf, and more golf. Mom Amanda decided that the golf theme didn’t have to be kooky and successfully created a beautiful nursery for Elliot filled with tons of green including a golf course mural, crisp white furniture and preppy plaid window treatments.
