I wanted an owl nursery for our little girl, but wanted to do it my way ;) The pink, yellow, and gray is pulled together throughout the room, with a little touch of owl.
This room was soo much fun to put together! It’s a pretty small space which was previously our guest room that we painted with horizontal stripes. I definitely loved how the stripes turned out so I wanted to keep it and just add the baby elements. I wanted bright and fun colors for my baby boy’s room so I decided to go with blues, green, grey and splashes of orange (a color the hubby actually likes)
My husband and I had so much fun designing this room for our sweet baby girl!
This is Zechariah’s simple gray and white nursery! I wanted something clean and simple for a little boy with a few splashes of red.

A nursery for our little girl Ellery. A room that I wanted to be fun, modern and a room that could grow with her.
Budget Nursery: Designing a nursery under $850.
I knew I wanted the nursery to be soothing, yet colorful and something that could easily transition to a more “grown up” space as as our baby matured. It was important to me that I could incorporate some new pieces with inexpensive/vintage pieces so that the room had character (and didn’t break the bank!). We’re so proud of the nursery we put together for our first child, a baby girl named Olive, who we welcomed to this world on December 1st. Like many others we wanted her room to grow with her & not make it too “baby”. We also incorporated used pieces and DIY projects to keep the overall cost low.
Although I am having a boy, I still wanted my nursery to be pretty. I spent a lot of time researching and collecting inspiration, like 8 months worth! This is the result.
Here is my little girl’s room. She is due soon and I can’t wait till she gets here to enjoy it.
