Gray and Orange French/Paris Nursery

In true pregnant (read: “unhinged”) fashion, I decided to DIY this baby room myself, down to the bare-bones details. Which means Husband and I have spent a good part of the last two months nailing, caulking, sanding, painting, upholstering, sewing, spray painting, decoupaging, and glue gunning ourselves into complete DIY exhaustion. The result? A darling French-style gray and orange nursery that reminds me of Paris in the Fall. I have some tutorials and fun ideas related to this nursery on my blog at Sisteroo.com.  Feel free to check it out!

A Francophile’s Twin Shower

A French infused tea party shower for twins!  Food + Decor: The classic Ladurée green inspired the decor and accented the white and ivory linens and details. In addition to the delicious macarons, mini lemon bundt cakes and almond biscotti were served. Vintage linens, doilies, and milk glass adorned the table, and gold touches added sparkle! Favors: Since the shower was kept to an intimate group of 12, each guest went home with their very own box of Ladurée macarons! Credits: Styling & Event Planning- Fleurishing LLCLetterpress Invitations- Curious & Co.Rentals – Party Rental Ltd.
