Kydiel’s Star Wars Room
This is my version of a modern Star Wars room. I wanted to incorporate my love for the orange and teal color combination and my son’s love of Star Wars.

This nursery was especially designed for Harper. Previously this room belonged to her big sister, so before Harper was born, we re-worked the room, incorporating old and new ideas to use what would work again, but also make it new for her.
This chic and sophisticated nursery was created for Mac. His parents wanted to do a safari themed nursery for him, but keep it sophisticated so it could grow with him and flow with the rest of their house.
A pint-sized, non-gender specific nursery created with oodles of love! Working with a small space to incorporate high function, storage, pattern and design. Many projects are DIY and were attainable on a tight budget.
Our baby girl’s room is traditional with a touch of whimsy and fun. We wanted every wall to have an unexpected item and the room to be one she could grow up in.
I focused on a modern nursery that would easily transition with Audrey as she grows. A baby’s room that wasn’t too “baby” or overly girlie. Her parents are young, cool, and hip…and that’s what I wanted to convey in the design. Baby Audrey did her best to let me know what she liked too–lots of swirls and lots of kicking.

A Baby Shower for a special Mommy to be! Baby Ava was showered with lots of love, color, flowers and details.
This nursery was truly a labor of love for our girls that we worked so hard to conceive. We may have been on a serious budget… but I wouldn’t have it any other way. All items are sentimental and meaningful, or pieces we poured our hearts into fixing up. We loved every minute of this journey. Total cost for EVERYTHING (all furniture, supplies, and decor!) totals out at $393.
Our client chose the size, shape, colors, initial & font for her daughter’s custom rug and we created it to her specs. She loved the rug and just sent us this photo of it in the nursery. Our custom rugs are not printed, it is all hand inlaid by Americans in America!
I wanted to create a room that reflected the pastel colors of my childhood. There is something so calming and endearing about pastel pink. However, I AM a modern girl and I wanted a more contemporary look so I incorporated gray as an accent color and balanced the two colors with pops of white in the furniture and varying elements of nature.
We took an office in our house and converted it into a nursery for our first child, a little girl, who is due on July 30, 2011. With a focus on pink and gold, this big girl loves her little girl’s room! :)
