If you want to throw a party for a special friend of yours to celebrate a second or third child into their family, throw them a “Sprinkle”. It is not technically a shower since you don’t play games and shower the guest of honor with items she’ll need for baby. Instead you throw a sprinkle luncheon or cocktail party and sprinkle her with gifts for herself for fun non-practical but adorable gifts for baby.
Surrounded by the most thoughtful and loving family and friends I am the luckiest Mommy-to-be! Today’s post is all about my beautiful coed Baby-Q hosted by our closest friends and family.
1st Birthday Party! yellow and royal blue with “C” and cookie monster theme ((Currently in the process of uploading pictures. My computer is being very slow))
I was very excited to decorate my little girl’s room from the moment I found out her sex! I didn’t want to go the traditional route and didn’t want to go with any certain theme. I am very pleased with how it turned out, and now it is my favorite room in the house!
Children’s birthday parties tend to be fairly low key over here in New Zealand so when I came across this site I was amazed at the beautiful events that people were creating. I decided that our first child’s first birthday was definately an occasion worth going all out for!
