Sophie’s Big Top Celebration

Sophie was hitting the double digits so we wanted to make sure to make it memorable. We celebrated at a local Circus Arts school where the girls’ tumbled, trapezed and totally amazed us. It was a complete DIY party (with a little graphic art held from an esty seller). We had a ballon drop instead of a pinata, bubble machine during the birthday song (made for great pics), caramel apples, cotton candy and colored popcorn. I didn’t spend more than $5/kid on the favors (all purchased at dollar stores and sassied up a bit and packaged in a “popcorn” plastic box I got at Target’s $1 section) but they took home more than an arm’s full of stuff from bubbles to ballon balls. For the thank yous I took pics of the kids in front of a pretty piece of fabic I bought and brought in some funny props so as we waited for guests to arrive the kids took turns dressing up and taking funny pics with the birthday girl.
