Aviation Baby Shower
My sister in laws baby shower for her son. Aviation themed.
My sister in laws baby shower for her son. Aviation themed.
We wanted to have a modern nursery while still having a playful theme. We made the curtains, bedding, and pillow and bought a few things from etsy.
The theme of the party was vintage airplanes and the color scheme was red, white, blue and navy.
This is my son’s big boy room! After several air plane rooms (in our past 2 homes) I decided to go a little more neutral with the theme. He likes so many things, so I wasn’t planning on a mural but when I saw a similar mural on HGTV’s Design Star I thought it would be perfect. Once I showed him the picture, he was really excited. I added a bit of Star Wars in his sheets and a few paintings I did on canvas above his desk- those were a surprise and he was thrilled with them!
A sophisticated, yet still boyish nursery for our son. It is centered around aviation, deep rich colors and personal hand made touches from loved ones.
This is a classic, cozy nursery with modern touches and a collection of vintage elements. I am thrilled I was able to execute my plan and it turned out as beautiful as I had imagined. We had a lot of work to do- as the room was floor to ceiling (literally) pink before we moved into the house! We painted all the trim, the ceiling, closets, all the doors, and floor!
This nursery is clean, calm and bright. I had fun using a mix of modern and vintage components to the room.
Wanting to instill a love of travel in our little one, we desiged Grayson’s nursery around all things travel in a vintage/mordern way. From the antique dresser, buffet, and globe, to the modern chervron rug and travel fabric, this room clearly is all about traveling the world. For a personal touch, we also framed vinatge maps of San Francisco (my hometown), Denver (my husband’s hometown), and Phoenix (where we currently reside and where Baby G will be born).
Airplane room for an active 2-year old.
Not big on themes but I love airplanes and all things old. When I found out I was having a boy I immediately knew I didn’t want to do blue (after having a father in the air force… I don’t like blue but am fond of planes!)
Jet’s “Ready for Takeoff” first birthday party!
A Boy CHIC baby shower. A modern twist on a classic theme.
