Baby Charlie’s Nursery
This was such a fun project! We started with the wallpaper, and went from there. I knew I wanted it to be the focal point so I went muted with the other items. Furniture was selected to grow with baby.

Robert’s nursery was the first room we completed in our new house. My sister-in-law hand painted the accent wall and I painted the dresser in the same color blue. The shelves are filled with sentimental pieces, like my childhood teddy bear, a framed Hermès coloring book that was a wedding gift from a friend, and Robert’s favorite book “Mommy in my Pocket,” written by his grandma. The gallery wall is a collection of pictures and frames from different places that I’ve collected over the year, including Pop Art prints of our two dogs Moose and Bear. There’s a lot going on in this room but somehow I think it all works!
*Please note the room was styled for these photos – the plant is not normally within reach of the crib.
For the our second baby’s nursery we didn’t want to stick to a strict theme. Instead, I just wanted the room to be colorful and happy. Using the Rainbow Wallpaper from Project Nursery as my inspiration, I added pieces throughout the room to play off the colors.
To help tie in our crib, which is a hand me down from our first daughter, I tried to tie in the natural wood and gray via the name sign on the wall and mirror above the changing table. We also just had to pull in our handmade Star Wars mobile that we used for our first daughter!
Overall, we are thrilled with how it turned out and can’t wait to watch out little grow into the space.
