Christmas Pajama, Hot Cocoa, and Cookie Party

Every year I host an annual Christmas pajama, hot cocoa, and cookie playdate.  It is perhaps, the most fun party for me to throw each year.  I love to have a hot cocoa bar complete with all the fixings and make delicious sugar cookies. All the babies and mamas are invited to wear festive pjs and bring a holiday treat to share.  It’s so casual and fun!  This year, I really wanted my party to have a bit of a rustic charm and elegance.  Lots of real wreaths and garlands and I even came across a farm stand selling handfuls of red berry stems for $5.00.  I have a lot of industrial/farmhouse decor in my home so I utilized a lot of wood, galvanized metal, and mason jars for most of my decor.  I was able to decorate my home and the party at very little cost.  This is such a fun tradition that my girls and I look forward to every year!

A Christmas Craft Party for Kids!

I love holiday traditions! Even though my son is only one, I still wanted to set in place a few fun Christmas traditions! One was a advent calendar (Book style), and another was hosting a kids craft party! It was a great morning filled with cookies, Christmas music and lots of arts and crafts! From writing a letter to Santa, to painting their own ornaments, I wanted these littles to express their creativity and most importantly have fun with each other! SUCCESS! Everything was personalized to make the kids feel special and I was so happy with the outcome. I designed all the labels and did the lettering to save on costs! Definitely a tradition I will continue… It certainly got us all in the holiday spirit – mama’s included!

Noon Year’s Eve Party for Littles

We’re saying goodbye to 2016 with our Noon Year’s Eve party!
Sometimes it’s hard for little ones to make it to midnight on New Year’s Eve (and let’s be honest, sometimes it’s hard for us parents too!) so what better way to include the kids in celebrating the new year than with a Noon Year’s Eve party! Invite little friends over with these bright and colorful invitations from Tiny Prints. The happy colors set the tone for the party and will get the kids excited to see what’s in store for the celebration! The party started at 10:30 AM and that was plenty of time for snacks, games and of course, the big countdown to the noon year!
The kids munched on fruits and veggies, cheese and crackers and felt SO fancy sipping sparkling grape juice from pretty glasses. As the countdown to the noon year approached, the kids popped festive poppers with confetti galore and enjoyed fun ring pop favors that had little tags saying “Ring in the Noon Year!”.

Treat or Treat Halloween Party

I love Halloween and I love to throw parties for kids. Every year, I plan a party for my little monster and her friends. The kids played games, painted their own ceramic pumpkin banks to take home and of course, ate way too many treats! The color palette I chose for the party was traditional orange and black but I added a little pop of mint green to the mix. The kids and parents had a blast at the party and we can’t wait for Halloween!
