Sunday was a fabulous day here in Los Angeles! It’s was one of those days where you meet wonderful pregnant people, great moms & dads, creative business owners and old friends only to finish the day exhausted but with a smile thinking…the baby industry is a great industry to be in. Big Announcement! Project Nursery and PetitNest are working together exclusively to create a fabulous space at the June 5th PLUSH Event! We fell in love with the incredible designs of PetitNest at last year’s ABC Kids Show in Vegas. Television’s Tiffani Thiessen and Interior Designer Lonni Paul (you know her from HGTV’s Design Star!) put their hearts into ensuring their products are eco-friendly, made in the USA, functional and above all stylish!
The ladies behind Operation Shower, LeAnn & Amy were at it again! Their most recent event showering military moms-to-be themed, “Red, White & Coo” was yet another smashing success. With summer BBQ’s just around the corner, we wanted to highlight some of the fantastic charitable work and decorative patriotic details created our party planning friends and vendors from their latest shower with some serious Presidential lady power.

The Plush event is for all posh parents looking for the best in the baby and toddler industry. This day of luxury will be filled with deals on top products, children’s wear fashion shows, and opportunities to learn from some of the industries top professionals (doulas, nursery designers and more!)
Project Nursery’s Rebecca Propes has been invited to the Chandler, AZ Pottery Barn Kids store to share her favorite decorating tips and designer talent in time for Easter. Don’t you just adore their holiday collections? We’ll be featuring ways to incorporate the holidays into the nursery, kids rooms, play rooms and more on Saturday, March 5th at 12noon starting with the infamous Peter Rabbit Collection by PBK.
I spent much of my Saturday browsing the Babes & Babies shopping event with baby Sloane in tow. The event was put on by Appel & Frank and was conveniently only a five minute minute from my house. Dozens of local entrepreneurs were able to show off their products and it is always fun chatting to new parents about Project Nursery. It never seizes to amaze me how new products are constantly being created to make life easier for the hip and modern parent. Aside from snagging samples for Sloane from baby food favorite, Plum Organics…
I had the pleasure of attending the Martha Stewart Dreamers into Doers Event in NYC last week! One of the highlights of the trip was meeting up with fellow Project Nursery contributors, Kelly Lynden of The Party Dress and Rebecca Propes from Fresh Chick Designs. Many of the fabulous party bloggers that we interact with daily were in attendance, which made for quite a party!
