This yellow and gray celestial themed nursery is the perfect place for our little guy to dream at night.
I wanted something happy and cheerful for our first baby, and since this room has beautiful views of the evening sunsets and receives a large amount of natural light I thought to incorporate the sun; or better yet, all celestial objects.
Clean, cheerful, happy, and fun!

DIY’s: An old book shelf was spray painted white. I used HGTV fabric from Jo-Ann Fabric for the curtains and slipper chair. I printed the “Sun, Moon, Stars, and Cloud” wall art from Mrprintables.com, and the “You Are My Sunshine” subway wall art from Eighteen25.blogspot.com. The yellow, gray, and blue chevron quilt and pillow was handmade by a co-worker. The knit squirrel was also handmade by a co-worker.
I love the star wall decals I found on Etsy, the white stars really stand out against the dark gray walls. I also love the Globe Nightlight from the Land of Nod. At night it illuminates the room with stars and constellations!
