I knew from the start that I wanted to create a bright but neutral space four our 4th baby who's gender was a surprise! I didn't want the room to be too masculine or feminine so we kept the color pallet very simple with mostly white and a few dashes of varying shades of gray and tan. Our surprise baby arrived a month early and is a darling little girl who we named Portlynn Blake.
The main inspiration for this room came from Joanna Gains and her shiplap wall obsession! We created our own DIY shiplap walls and painted them white for a clean crisp feel.
Farm house, country, shabby chic, vintage, rustic, restoration hardware, pottery barn

The room is painted swiss coffee by Sherwin Williams, the crib was handed down from my mother, the crib skirt is from Restoration Hardware, the chair I found on the side of the road for FREE! and i made a slip cover for it, the dresser was also a side of the road treasure that was painted in Grain Sack Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint, the the signs are made by me from my shop Little Bits of Everything inc. and the Chandelier was from Amazon.com, the Cable Knit rug is from RUGS USA
The walls and the chandelier really captured the look and feel I was hoping to achieve
I love the quilt stars, did you make those yourself?
