Description
For our son's nursery I wanted to create a fun, creative space that was warm and modern. I stumbled upon the wonderful bedding, fell in love, and the rest of the nursery took shape.
Design Inspiration

Decorating Style
My style is Sleek and Streamlined
All about space and shape. Contemporary, rounded lines combine with neutral elements and bold color. I like contemporary design.
Project Details
Owl bedding is Litto Silly Owl Crib Set from ModernNursery.com, Gallery frames are from WestElm.com, Vinyl wall decal is from Willow Creek Signs on Etsy.com, the shelves are from Target. I handmade the shadow box picture frames on both sides of the window. The lamp is from Target, and I painted the paper shade to match the rest of the room. The shadow box picture frames contain my old baby clothes. The painting was done by my sister to mimic the pattern on the bedding. I handmade the mobile to match the owls on the bedding.
Favorite Items
I love the mobile! It turned out exactly how I envisioned!
Advice
I think that doing things yourself - no matter how long they may take - in the end it adds such a special element to the room and make it so unique.

The best part are your belly photos. I’m ready to have that done. I’m 26 weeks, and I’m looking like 8 mo. with my first baby back in 1999! You look beautiful. Awesome nursery 5 star
The photo of when you were pregnant is a nice touch.
Great job!!! I absolutely love this nursery. You’ll enjoy being in there with your little one for a good time to come. I love the pictures and all the handmade elements of the room.
