Victoria’s Shabby Chic Nursery

Description

I love anything shabby chic, but I didn't want the nursery to be pink overload so I decided to go with blue instead (and include pink accents of course!).  My mom made the bedding, curtains, diaper stacker, awning, and birth info square.  We used this same nursery for our first, but updated it with the bead board and new personalized decor for our second.

Favorite Items

The chandelier :)  It came in a horrible gold color, but I couldn't resist the inexpensive online price.  The hubs spray painted it white & I added pink trim to the lamp shades.

Advice

Try to think out of the box and make more of an eclectic look by purchasing through different vendors.  Everything will still match, without the "matchy-matchy" feel.

I know it's been a long time, but could you please share the blue wall color you used? I have been trying for 5 years and finally get to make nursery. Would be so grateful! Thanks.

You have created a very designer look with your creative ideas. You knew what you wanted and didn't stick to just what was offered. I really liked how you went where ever you found items and made them work for you. I personally like using sheets as fabric to create the look I want. Sweet Dreams! Barbara Ann

Love that boutique canopy above the changing table. So chic!
