Vibrant French Provincial Nursery

Description

French provincial baby girl's nursery in fuchsia, black and cream!

Design Inspiration

For Charlotte's nursery I really wanted something different than the typical baby girl designs. I found this gorgeous Michael Miller French Journal fabric and it was just perfect! From there I chose coordinating fabrics and designed the bedding, pillows and curtains exactly the way I wanted them and then had Maddie Boo Bedding sew everything for me!

Decorating Style

I think French provincial with a vibrant twist would describe my decorating style for Charlotte's nursery.

Project Details

The main fabrics were by Michael Miller French Journal & Waverly Pen Pal Blackboard, with ivory minky - all found on fabric.com. Cinda from Maddie Boo Bedding created the bedding, blanket, pillows and curtains exactly the way I envisioned them.  I used a combinantion of ideas that I found on Pintrest for the wall decor of framed fabric and clothing. The beautiful vintage dress, bloomers and sweater are from Baby Beau & Belle. The sweet baby shoes are from the Etsy shop, Pink2Blue. The crib is from  Bratt Decor, the chandelier from Restoration Hardware.  I found the cream shag  jersey rug on Sky Iris.com.

Favorite Items

My favorite item is the Michael Miller French Journal fabric. I bought several more yards of it so we can make a full size duvet when Charlotte is older - I hope she likes it for a long time!!

Advice

I did a lot of online research looking for inspiration - I only found Pinterest at the end of my pregnancy, I wish I had known about it sooner - it's such a great tool for ideas!
